Xbox One Is ‘Awesome’ or ‘Ugly’ Depending on Search Engine

Here’s a fun game, try searching the exact phrase “the Xbox One is” in two different search engines and you’re going to get two very different auto-suggest results.

If you try using Microsoft’s Bing search engine, you’re likely to get results that say the console is “amazing.” But switch to Google search and the results are not so approving.

Once the phrase is typed into Google, the automatic results that begin to appear say “the xbox one is terrible,” the xbox one is ugly,” the xbox one is a joke.”

But before you jump to conclusions about Microsoft, if you type “xbox one is” on Bing, you get negative terms including “terrible,” “going to fail,” and “bad.”

We reached out to both Google and Microsoft to see how these results are calculated, but we haven’t heard anything back yet.

In Response: I had to post this because it shows to me that both search engines feels towards the other. Bing you get “amazing” and Google you get “its a joke”? I mean really? lol
I know Google doesn’t have any ties to the PlayStation which is Xbox One’s main rival, but Xbox is a Microsoft product so I am guessing anything Microsoft has to suck to them. Anyway, just thought this was worth sharing!
